Larry Berg has been a teacher of brass instruments at the Tune Shop since 1983. Larry is a graduate of Pittsburg State University with graduate hours at K-State, Kansas University, and Ottawa University. He has served as band/choir director at Oskaloosa, Bonner Springs, and Ft. Leavenworth (Patton Jr. High School). Larry currently is the YouthFriends & Business Partnerships Coordinator for USD 204, Bonner Springs, KS. Larry has been involved in educating young people since 1966.
Larry currently directs the Bonner Springs City Band (27 years) and plays in the Lawrence City Band and Overland Park Civic Band. Larry also enjoys playing in the Moonlight Serenade Orchestra. Larry’s life centers on family, music, and young people. He plays the Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone Horn professionally.
